A birthday dry-run
A Birthday Dry Run from dsinker on Vimeo.
Our neighbors came over today for a pre-birthday bithday celebration. It was a good test run to see if all of Roosevelt's breathing exercises have paid off. Bingo! All three candles down for the count.
It's the official countdown now for the real thing. T-minus six days and counting.
Wishlist link is over on the left for anyone wanting to get a gift (entirely not necessary, BTW).

What kids talk about when they talk about trains
Here's a fly-on-the-wall recording of Roosevelt and his friend Sarah playing trains together. It's cute throughout, but especially near the end, where they successfully negotiate a swapping of trains and avert a full-on meltdown in the process.
Go ahead and listen in!

Getting ready for the social event of the year
For those keeping score, you know that Roosevelt's Birthday is coming up on the 30th. While LORD KNOWS he doesn't actually need anything more, for those that want to buy a gift Roosevelt has helped us compile a list of toys, books, art supplies and more that he'd like (of course, in compiling it he now thinks he's getting all of it TODAY, but that's our cross to bear not yours).
The list is accessable through the Wish List button on the left, or simply by clicking here.
Please, please don't feel obligated, this is a public service for those that want to get him something but don't know what to get--now that Roosevelt's asked "Is today my birthday?" and "are we at the end of the month yet?" 1000 times in the course of five minutes, it was also a colossally bad idea.
